Industrial Warehouse Racking Systems

Pallets are placed on the racks using a forklift or stacker crane. Palletizing can be done in two ways: with direct access to each pallet, or through block storage.

Get to Know Warehouse Racking

Uprights

Dnz Raf pallet racking uprights are available in many different designs. You can choose from different heights, depths, and finishes. Each frame consists of a front and rear upright profile. These are bolted together with diagonal and horizontal braces and are firmly anchored to the floor with a base plate, shims, and anchor bolts to ensure the frame's stability. In addition to the powder-coated version, pre-galvanized and hot-dip galvanized finishes are also available.

Rack Heights

For heavy-duty racking, production is possible at any height between 2 and 15 meters, in 50-centimeter increments.

Pallet Rack Heights and Depth Options

Rack Depth

When it comes to the depth of your pallet rack, you can choose between two options: the first is our 80-centimeter rack depth, ideal for storing single-use pallets or other goods. The second is our standard 105-centimeter depth, ideal for storing Euro pallets lengthwise. If you have any questions, our expert team will be happy to help. Thanks to the flexible rack design, you can expand your pallet rack at any time and adapt it to your needs — optimizing it by adding more levels in height or more bays in length.

Beams

Beams powder-coated in pure orange RAL 2004 or light yellow RAL 1007 attach to the uprights with a simple clip-in design and are secured with safety pins to prevent accidental dislodging. Their height can be adjusted individually in 50-millimeter increments.

Pallet Rack Beam Lengths

Beam Lengths

Bay length defines the width of a rack bay and the distance between two frames. Our beam frames are available in lengths of 180, 220, 270, 300, 330, and 360 centimeters. Different beam sizes can be freely combined with one another.

Load Distribution

a - Point Load

A force acting on the floor at a specific point is called a point load. It is also known as a concentrated load.

b - Shelf Load

This indicates the maximum load-bearing capacity of a single shelf level when the load is distributed evenly across it. The maximum shelf load depends, among other factors, on the beam length.

c - Bay Load

This defines the maximum total load of the rack, with the load distributed evenly across the entire frame. The sum of the individual loads must not exceed the permitted bay load.
